Who We Are

The Project is a free legal non-profit program whose main priority is to reach as many clients as possible who are in need of legal representation and to provide services as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Executive Director

Lizz serves as the only full time employee and handles the day to day operations of the Project including case assignments, recruitment of volunteer attorneys, plans and host legal clinics throughout the three parish service area (Rapides, Vernon & Avoyelles) as well as overseeing the Self-Help Desk every second Friday of the month at the Rapides Parish Courthouse. 


Lizz is a retired Human Resources Director for the State of LA, Department of Health. She is a graduate of Holy Savior Menard Central High School and LSU-Alexandria, as well as a Civil Law Notary for the Parishes of Rapides, Avoyelles and Grant.
